Definition and Usage

<Ol> tag defines an ordered list.

Differences between HTML and XHTML

In HTML 4.01, "compact", "start" and "type" attribute ol element is not in favor of use.

In XHTML 1.0 Strict DTD in, ol element "compact", "start" and "type" attribute is not supported.
